Kittens at Three Weeks

Tiny mews.
Bitty claws.
Purring love and playful paws.
Foster parents though we be,
we still adopted each of three.

At only three weeks old, these littermates were destined to stay together.  Sometimes you just know that a litter can not be separated, and while we had not intended to bring three kittens into our full home, we have no regrets about keeping a family together.  Wren, Robin, and Dove were sent to us for fostering specifically because of our background in animal rescue and care.  The finder had named the three babies after birds, and the shelter knew that with our long history of baby animal care, dedication, and a menagerie of eleven birds, we'd be the perfect mark to fall madly in love with these babies.  And we did.  We fell head over heels.  I was immediately bonded to Dove, the lilac point siamese, and my wife took to Wren.  He's the goofy fellow with the GIGANTIC eyes.  This shoot was the first of many kitten shoots.  You can find more under the Fauna category.
